SKI LESSONS • GUIDING • HOKKAIDO

Ski your way.

Private ski lessons, powder coaching and guiding built around your skiing, your goals and the conditions of the day.

PRIVATE SKIING IN NISEKO

One instructor. Your goals. The right mountain.

Whether you want to improve your technique, become more confident in powder, explore off-piste terrain or discover another part of Hokkaido, your day is planned around you.

There is no fixed formula. We look at your experience, what you want to achieve, your preferred terrain and the conditions on the day, then build the experience from there.

WHAT I OFFER

Choose your experience.

From your first steps into powder to full days exploring Hokkaido's mountains, every experience is personalised.

01

Private Ski Lessons

Personalised coaching built around your skiing, experience and goals.

Whether you want to improve your technique, become more confident on steeper terrain, refine your carving or simply feel more comfortable and efficient on the mountain, every lesson is built around you.

We'll look at your current skiing, talk about what you want to improve and adapt the session to the terrain and conditions. Rather than following a fixed programme, I focus on giving you practical feedback that you can immediately use on the mountain.

FOCUS

Technique
Confidence
Carving
Steeper terrain
Skiing efficiency

SUITABLE FOR

Intermediate to advanced skiers

02

Powder Skiing Lessons & Coaching

Learn to move with the snow and become more confident in deeper conditions.

Powder skiing is different from skiing on groomed snow. The aim isn't simply to ski differently — it's to understand how balance, pressure, rhythm and movement change when the snow gets deeper.

We'll work with the conditions of the day and focus on helping you feel more comfortable, controlled and confident in powder. Whether you're experiencing Japanese powder for the first time or looking to improve your technique, the session is adapted to your current ability.

FOCUS

Powder technique
Balance & pressure control
Rhythm and flow
Line choice
Snow awareness

SUITABLE FOR

Intermediate to advanced skiers

03

Off-Piste Resort Guiding

Explore the terrain beyond the groomed runs without leaving the resort.

Niseko offers far more than its marked pistes. With the right conditions and local knowledge, there are plenty of opportunities to explore trees, powder, natural features and more challenging terrain within the resort.

We'll choose terrain according to your experience, confidence and the conditions on the day, making the most of what the mountain has to offer while keeping the experience appropriate for the group.

The goal isn't simply to find the steepest or deepest snow. It's about finding the right terrain for you, making good decisions and enjoying the mountain.

FOCUS

Off-piste resort terrain
Powder and variable snow
Terrain selection
Local mountain knowledge
Adapting to conditions

SUITABLE FOR

Intermediate to advanced skiers with appropriate off-piste experience

04

Niseko Backcountry Guiding

Go beyond the resort and explore Niseko's backcountry.

For experienced skiers looking to venture beyond the resort boundaries, Niseko offers a completely different experience. Backcountry days can take you into quieter terrain, deeper snow and a more natural mountain environment.

The route and terrain will depend on your experience, the weather, snowpack, visibility and conditions on the day. The focus is on making appropriate decisions, choosing terrain that suits the group and enjoying the best possible experience in the mountains.

Hokkaido Ski Days

Go beyond Niseko and discover more of Hokkaido.

Hokkaido has an incredible variety of mountains and ski areas, and sometimes the best ski day isn't the one spent at your home resort.

A private Hokkaido ski day gives us the flexibility to choose where to go based on the weather, snowfall and what you're looking for. We can explore a different resort, chase better conditions or simply experience another part of the region.

The day is planned around you and the mountain, rather than following a fixed itinerary.

Rusutsu is one of Hokkaido's exciting ski areas, with a different character from Niseko and plenty of terrain to explore.

A private guiding day gives you the freedom to explore the mountain at your own pace, with the route and terrain adapted to your skiing and the conditions.

Whether you're looking for powder, trees, open terrain or simply want to experience another side of Hokkaido skiing, we'll make the most of the day.
